The pregnant girls were paraded alongside some boys hired and paid
to make them pregnant.
Thirty-two pregnant teenagers at various stages of their pregnancies have been arrested in Umuzue community in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State by men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC). They were arrested together with the owner of the home, Mrs. Nnenna Mba and two male workers on April 2, 2013 following a tip-off. The girls, whose ages range between 10 and 20 were impregnated at the home by visiting males employed by the proprietor of the home.

Ladies from Abia Baby Factory
The State Security Service (SSS) in Abia State has rescued 16 pregnant women from a home in Aba, run by a purported Non-Governmental Organization, Home Cross Foundation International, and arrested the man in charge. The 16 ladies, aged between 17 and 37 years, are indigenes of Enugu, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Abia, and Imo States, and were found at various stages of pregnancy at 3 Anyamele Street.

Baby Factory Discovered In Abia State- 32 under 20 Girls Arrested
The Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Services has raided a house allegedly used as a baby factory in Ilutitun, Okitipupa Local Government Area, arresting 24 persons. The suspects included a 66-year-old man, Mr. Aliu Ojo, who claimed to be a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police and the alleged leader of the factory.

A recent investigation into child trafficking had led the police to Ezumas residence, which doubled as an office for Ezuma Women and Children Right Initiative, a purportedly registered nongovernmental organization.
