Prof. Mbah’s career spans over 30 years of academic excellence and social impact. She has served as:

  • Vice President (Africa Region) of the International Federation for Home Economics (IFHE)
  • Chairperson of IFHE’s Programme Committee on Food Security, Nutrition & Health
  • President of the Home Economics Professional Association of Nigeria (HEPAN)
  • Chairperson of the Home Economics Council of Nigeria (HECON)

Her leadership has shaped policies and programs that address hunger, nutrition, and family well-being, including authoring IFHE’s position statement on SDG Goal 2: Zero Hunger.

🎓 Academic Excellence and Mentorship

Currently serving as Deputy Vice Chancellor at the University of Delta, Agbor, Prof. Mbah is a Professor of Home Economics and Nutrition Education. She has mentored over 215 students across Ph.D., M.Sc., B.Sc., and NCE levels, and assessed 14 scholars to the rank of Professor. Her academic journey includes:

  • M.Sc. in Nutrition & Dietetics – Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta
